2020 Rosé
With the weather challenges we experienced during the 2019 growing season, our Rogue Valley Merlot grape yields were down about 40% compared to the previous year. So we got creative and supplemented the Merlot with a bit of Grenache grapes. This changed the flavor profile of the 2019 Rosé by adding depth and character. We also added some of our 2020 Malbec juice to amplify the 2020 Rosé's color and aromatics.
After 26 days of fermentation, this wine was bottled in January 2020, resulting in luscious hints of starfruit, apricot, and orange blossom. It has a delicious mouth-watering acidity, low alcohol (11.9%), and a little less residual sugar than our 2019 Rosé. We are proud to offer yet another great Rosé for your wine drinking pleasure this year!
