Scrap wood wine tasting - an unexpected delight

Kimberly and Kirk found themselves celebrating their anniversary in a way they never expected. With dining out off the table, their children, Jasper, Violet, and Warren, took it upon themselves to create a romantic wine tasting experience right in their own backyard.

As the golden sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over their property, Kimberly and Kirk were invited outside by their children. To their surprise, they found a beautifully set table crafted from scrap wood, adorned with a crisp white tablecloth, and surrounded by breathtaking views of vineyards, mountains, and a babbling spring.

Warren, the eldest, had taken charge of preparing a delicious dinner, while Violet had whipped up a delectable dessert. Even young Jasper had contributed with his homemade appetizers. The scent of freshly cooked food filled the air, adding to the ambiance of the evening.

With a flourish, Jasper uncorked a bottle of their favorite Rose, Resistance Wine, pouring it into delicate wine glasses. As they savored the first sip, Kimberly and Kirk couldn't help but feel grateful for their thoughtful children and the opportunity to share this special moment together.

But the surprises didn't end there. As they enjoyed each course of the multi-course dinner, Violet and Warren unveiled their musical talents. With Warren on the ukulele and Violet on the fiddle, they performed a heartfelt song they had composed especially for their parents. The music floated on the evening breeze, weaving a tapestry of love and joy.

In that fleeting moment, surrounded by their loving family, the worries of the world melted away. It was a rare and precious occasion where everything felt perfect. The right place, the right time, the right family, and of course, the right wine.

As they raised their glasses to toast to another year of love and togetherness, Kimberly and Kirk couldn't help but feel deeply grateful for the simple yet profound moments that brought them closer together. In the midst of uncertainty, they had found solace and joy in the love of their family and the beauty of their surroundings. And for that, they were truly blessed.

Happy Valentines Day!
